Not everyone thinks of taking their golf clubs when travelling, but on the off chance you do, try the Boolbardie Country Club. The golf course is on the Monkey Mia Road about 9kms from Denham.
I highly recommend taking old clubs as the course is red dirt, gravel laden and frustratingly outback. The course is only 9 holes but I am guessing that is a good thing?.
On the plus side, the view over the Little Lagoon and Francois Peron National Park is breathtaking. I also hear the 10th hole is very refreshing.
For the trivia buffs the Boolbardie Country Club is the most westerly golf course in Australia.
The course is open Saturday, Tuesday or Wednesday with tee off being 1.45pm.
